Puppetry with LBT

Want to get creative from home this summer? Missing your drama classes? Fancy doing something a bit different? Join Olivia, the Lawrence Batley Theatre’s Creative Associate, each week for a different creative session.

This week Olivia is joined by skilled puppeteer Nancy Penvose. Join Nancy in finding out a bit more about rod puppets, and learn how to make your own!

To make your own rod puppet you will need: – Cardboard – Fabric (an old tea-towel or t-shirt) – Scissors – Tape (Masking tape) – Small plate to draw around – Pencil – Marker pen – Stapler – Sticks (chop-sticks, kebab skewers or a stick you find outside!)
